Some people don't find comfort in the world for them, reality feels too loud, too harsh and too painful to bear. So, they turn their world into imagination, not to escape life, but to survive it in their minds, they create entire worlds where they feel safe.
These imagined places become more than daydreams, it is the only way to breath when everything outside feels too heavy. In their private worlds, they find what reality has not given them, (kindness, love, adventure, releif and belongings).
They are not running from life, they are building something softer within it. These inner worlds are not signs of weakness
they are proof of strenght. Others may face challenges head on, some heal quietly through thoughts, dreams and stories only they understand.
Society often urges them to "wake up" or "get real" not realizing that for these dreamers, the imaginary is just as meaningful. It is their anchor, their relief and often their only joy.
To those who live in the world of their imagination; You are not strange or broken. you have simply found peace in a different way. so don't feel guilty for where you find your light, if your mind is the only place that feels like home than let it be.
(Your imagination is not your escape , it's your power)
